In 50 words or less, what is this film about?
A young musician wakes up one day to find all of her belongings packed in boxes and replaced with someone else's. Unable to leave, she is forced to hide from the stranger now living in her home as she tries to figure out what on earth is going on.
Tell us something funny, or sad, or unusual, or crazy, that happened during the making of this film:
The thing that amused me the most is that, since we filmed in our house, my cat Peaches kept randomly walking into the frame while we were filming. Every time it happened it became funnier for some reason and we all lost it. Eventually, we had to force our slate person to double as a cat wrangler!
What connection do you have to Mississippi? And why did you enter Crossroads Film Festival?
I've lived in Hattiesburg my entire life and I graduate from USM with a film degree in May. I was told about this festival by my professor and it seemed like a great time!
Anything else you’d like audiences to know?
I had such a great time making this film. My actors are my two best friends in the world so this is a really cool time capsule for us. This is also my first experience writing and recording music for a project this big and I'm very proud of the soundtrack. This is a film that can be enjoyed by just about anyone, and I really hope the love and effort we put into it comes through! (Also, if you like the music in this film, stay tuned for my next project, it's a musical!)
