In 50 words or less, what’s this film about?
Journalist Georg and his girlfriend Vera meet DJ Dave Zuma at an open-air festival. When they board his hippie bus, the trip of their lifetime begins. Under the sun of the ancient continent a passionate amour fou unfolds between the three and shows them what it means to be alive.
What inspired you to make this film?
Together with my colleague we ourselves hit the psy-trance scene a couple of years ago and these wonderful events of harmonic and peaceful collective celebration at once inspired us to shoot a movie with these festivals as a backdrop. We wanted to make a movie, that gets along without violent conflicts and makes the people laugh instead. When choosing to shoot a narrative feature movie in the setting of real events across whole Europe, it was one of our main goals to show, that a peaceful togetherness of people from different cultures can be reality. To say it with the words of our good friend Dave Zuma: "Partying is better than fighting."

What’s your connection to Mississippi? (If you don’t have one, why did you apply to a Mississippi festival?)
Actually I don't have a very special connection to Mississippi. The topic and message of our movie is universal so I am sure that also the Mississippi audience will love it.
Anything else you want the audience to know about your film:
The journey of making the movie was like the story itself: full of adventures, wild, romantic and passionate - an experience, that will leave a long-lasting impression on the participants' lives.
"You Are Everything" was made under extreme conditions. We faced various challenges that made us consider giving up more than once during the working process. In the end, however, we succeeded to realize a movie that had began as a dream to us.
