Filmmaker's Name: William Bristow
Film Title: Lunch (Mississippi premiere)
In 50 words or less, what is your film about?
Andy, an oblivious guy at the office, tries to convince his co-workers to go to lunch with him at the restaurant of his choice.
What was your motivation to make this film… why this film, and why now?
This film developed from a screenwriting class exercise in dialogue. So the motivation was to learn and practice showing characterization through the way a character speaks.
Was there anything strange, funny, interesting, sad, scary, or otherwise unusual about making this film?
No, it was a pretty normal process. It ended up being a lot of fun.
What is your connection to Mississippi? If you don’t have one, why did you choose to enter your film into a Mississippi festival?
I have lived in Mississippi my whole life. I attend Belhaven University.
Anything else you want the audience to know about your film?
It was a great learning experience and a good introduction to the way things happen and work on set.
