In 50 words or less, what’s this film about?
I asked folks to simply “tell me something I don’t know.” Funny, serious, trivial, traumatic —- anything. I was amazed by how disarming and open complete strangers became in front of each other.
What inspired you to make this film?
The song itself, which I wrote and recorded prior. I wanted to make a video for it, but had about $9 in the budget. I thought this was a really compelling concept that could be shot on an iPhone and still be impactful.

What’s your connection to Mississippi?  (If you don’t have one, why did you apply to a Mississippi festival?)
I’m an artist from Memphis, so I tour through Mississippi a lot. I’m lucky enough to have a great network of friends and fans throughout the state. One of them is Bethany Williams, who encouraged me to apply to this festival.
