In 50 words or less, what’s this film about?
Stomping Ground tells the story of a couple of generations of family, and the difference between the love they had for one another.
What inspired you to make this film?
I was drawn to the historical aspect of this production, and that the individuals (actors) that would be in the music video, were actual people based on the artists' family. When I saw that we would be using old photographs that depicted the family members, and that we would be bringing those to life, I knew this was going to be a unique project from the start.

What’s your connection to Mississippi?  (If you don’t have one, why did you apply to a Mississippi festival?)
I was born in Amory, and lived in various parts of Mississippi throughout my youth. After living up north for 15 years, I now reside in the Jackson Metro Area.
