In 50 words or less, what’s this film about?
Rainbow Party is a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl who decides to try and work her way into the popular group of girls. In her quest she is faced with compromising situations and she needs to decide just how much she is willing to sacrifice for popularity.
What inspired you to make this film?
As a teenager I was bullied a lot in school, and so this film is semi-autobiographical in a way. I am fascinated with youth as this is the time when we make some big decisions which will shape our life for years to come.

What’s your connection to Mississippi?  (If you don’t have one, why did you apply to a Mississippi festival?)
I have never been to Mississippi, but I am so excited that my film will get to go! Very curious to see what the local audience thinks of my little film from Iceland.
Anything else you want the audience to know about your film:
We are very proud to be able to say that the production of Rainbow Party was entirely led by women, as well as the film is about a female lead character.
