Two films that inspired the setting for the film is George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead and Stand by Me. The innocence and forced maturity when faced in terrible living conditions. The nostalgia of boyhood.

I love the culture and history of Mississippi specifically Blues and its influence on my life. I had the opportunity to visit Beale street and it was everything I hoped!
