In 50 words or less, what’s this film about?
A recent nursing school graduate takes a job in a bad part of town because she believes in helping people, despite the protestation of her hapless boyfriend.  On her first night on the job, she proves that she isn't as helpless as her boyfriend thinks.
What inspired you to make this film?
I wanted to play in the horror/thriller genre and to subvert people's expectations.  I also wanted to make a statement about benign misogyny; women aren't as helpless as some men think they are.  This was a fun chance to use horror iconography to make a statement about the power of altruism and positivity.

What’s your connection to Mississippi?  (If you don’t have one, why did you apply to a Mississippi festival?) I am Mississippi born and raised.  I want to tell stories that aren't often told about the life and characters of people from the Southeast.
Anything else you want the audience to know about your film:
This film was a final project for a cinematography class and we worked really hard to make something that audiences will get a kick out of.  I hope that viewers will feel empowered by our lead character and feel inspired to help those in need.
