Crossroads screening and programming committees are hard at work to determine which films will be showcased and compete in the 14th annual festival. Promises to be an eclectic mix of the best local, regional, and international films including picks from the Sundance and Slamdance festivals!
There will also be pportunities to learn the inner workings of filmmaking with workshops and panels on legal matters in the entertainment industry, the use and importance of sound in film, the rise of documentary filmmaking, new developments in motion capture camera techniques, Film 101 - the art of film, and how to use your Southern accent to land that acting gig (with esteemed actor Gary Grubbs).
The festival will again partner with the Mississippi Museum of Art and their upcoming Curious George exhibit to offer a full day of activities for our youngest aspiring storytellers and filmmakers on April 14. And, of course, there's always music at Crossroads, with a new partnership with ardenland, bringing an exciting mix of musical talents.
Festival passes are now available for purchase online here.
